ComfortZone heat pump filter

The filter has nominal dimensions of 224 × 249 × 48 mm and is fitted with a sealing gasket around the filter.

When measuring an existing ComfortZone filter, the dimensions may differ by a few millimetres. This can depend on the measuring method and whether the sealing gasket is included or compressed during measurement. We therefore recommend checking the model of your ComfortZone heat pump rather than ordering solely on the basis of the measured external dimensions.

What does the filter do in a ComfortZone heat pump?

ComfortZone EX and RX systems are exhaust air heat pumps. They recover energy from the air extracted from the home and use this energy to produce heat.

The air filter captures dust and other contaminants before the extract air passes further through the heat pump. A clean filter helps maintain good airflow and protects the internal components of the heat pump against unnecessary contamination.

How often should a ComfortZone filter be replaced?

ComfortZone recommends checking the air filter regularly and replacing it annually. How quickly a filter becomes dirty depends partly on the amount of dust present in the extract air.

It is therefore advisable to inspect the filter between scheduled replacements. If it is heavily contaminated or damaged, replacing it sooner may be advisable.

ComfortZone CZ2616 and CZ26162

This filter type is also searched for using the ComfortZone reference numbers CZ2616 and CZ26162. CZ26162 is used as a reference for a pack containing two filters.

The f’air filters in this category are suitable replacement filters for the listed ComfortZone EX, RX and RXF models.

Why choose a f’air ComfortZone filter?

Frequently asked questions about ComfortZone filters

Are the ComfortZone EX and RX filters the same?

Yes. The ComfortZone EX35, EX50, EX65, RX35, RX50, RX65, RX95, RXF120 and RXF180 use the same filter type. To make it easier to find your model, we have created separate product pages for the EX series and the RX/RXF series.

How many filters do I need for my ComfortZone heat pump?

One filter is required per heat pump for this application. Our ComfortZone filters are therefore sold individually.

Why does my old filter measure differently from 224 × 249 × 48 mm?

The filter has a sealing gasket around its outer edge. Depending on the measuring method and whether the gasket is included or compressed, the measured external dimensions may differ by a few millimetres. Your ComfortZone model is therefore the most important reference when checking compatibility.

How often should I replace my ComfortZone filter?

ComfortZone recommends checking the filter regularly and replacing it at least once a year. If the filter becomes heavily contaminated sooner, earlier replacement may be advisable.
