The ComfortZone RX uses energy from the extract air in the home to recover heat. Before this air passes through the heat pump, the filter captures dust and other contaminants.
This is important because a dirty filter can restrict airflow. The heat pump then has to operate under less favourable conditions. A clean filter therefore contributes to good airflow, reliable operation and protection of the internal components.
During use, the filter gradually collects more and more dust. As a result, the air resistance of the filter increases over time. Replacing the filter in good time helps your ComfortZone heat pump operate under the conditions for which it was designed.
ComfortZone recommends checking the filter regularly and replacing it annually. In environments with relatively high levels of dust, earlier replacement may be advisable.
First switch off the heat pump before replacing the filter. Remove the front panel of the unit and open the filter cover. The old filter can then be removed from the heat pump and replaced with the new one.
Refit the filter cover and front panel, then switch the heat pump back on. Does the display show a filter notification? Reset the filter notification after replacement according to the instructions for your ComfortZone model.
You do not need different filters for the RX35, RX50, RX65, RX95, RXF120 and RXF180. The same filter with dimensions of 224 × 249 × 48 mm can be used in all these models.
